Who We Are?

Gloucester Street Community Centre is a non-profit voluntary organisation which was founded by Gloucester Street Church in 1987. It is located in the heart of most diverse and deprived neighbourhoods of Wolverhampton.  The organisation aims to address the varying social issues and needs that come with such a community, including; social welfare, poverty, crime and unemployment.

We cater for all ages providing a range of services; such as, OFSTED registered Childcare (Breakfast and After School Clubs, Play schemes), Youth engagement, Over 50’s club, Training and Development, Job Club, Education, Volunteering, Community Outreach, Room hire facilities. We also offer specialists support services including; advice and guidance, mentoring, counselling, coaching and projects that support the long term unemployed.

Over the past 30 years, we have continued to adapt our services to meet the needs of the diverse community we serve. Our range of services are accessible to all.
